Christmas Wrapping – Sincerely Santa Tags

In the lead up to Christmas, I saw social media flooded with stories from people lamenting the task of wrapping Christmas presents. But me? I love it. I have a bit of a thing for beautiful gift wrapping, especially at Christmas. I enjoy the wrapping part far more than the shopping part!

This Christmas I went with a red and white spots and stripes theme to complement the gorgeous tags from the Sincerely Santa Project Kit in Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Catalogue. This kit was so much fun and really quick and easy to put together. The Stamparatus makes creating multiples of any project particularly quick and easy. I love the Sincerely Santa stamp set and have used it on lots of other cards and tags this Christmas. It’s a set that’s definitely a keeper for me. I would have loved to have used the “This One’s From Santa” stamp to make tags for Santa’s gifts but Miss 8 noticed it and remarked on how funny it was that I have a Santa stamp so that idea was blown.

I actually enjoy a tricky wrapping challenge but I do love to keep or make boxes to put things in so they look neater when wrapped up. I also give lots of books for presents, mostly because books are awesome and maybe a little bit because they are a nice regular shape and look so beautiful wrapped up.

I do so love it when the tree is surrounded by a stack of beautifully wrapped matching piles of presents. Such a shame it all ends up as a pile of ripped paper on Christmas Day. I’m a careful unwrapper, I don’t like to tear the paper and will reuse paper and ribbons in particular. The kids, of course, are more the rip and tear into the types.

Of course it’s also perfectly normal to coordinate your baby to go with the wrapping.

Whether you’re a careful unwrapper or a tearer I hope there was a pretty pile of presents left under your tree by Santa.
