Hello and welcome to another week of CASE-ing the Catty here at Hightrees House, this week our first CASE-ing the FABULOUS new Occasions Catalogue from Stampin’ Up!
As you’ll see as you move through this hop, even in these five pages there’s so much inspiration to be had. My pick this week was these gorgeous little treat bags.

Stampin’ Up! 2019 Occasions catalogue p.8
I love the idea of some cute little Valentine’s Day treats to hand out, so I made up my own version with these yummy little “Love Notes” candies – this type of candy takes me straight back to my 80s childhood (remember the candy necklaces and bracelets??).
These are so quick and easy to make. The toppers are just Whisper White cardstock cut at 3 inches by 2 inches and scored along the top at 1/2″ to fold over. Stamped with your cute stamp of choice – in this case the super cute little envelope (minus the sentiment) from One For All (2018-19 Annual Catalogue, p. 37) in Lovely Lipstick, Mint Macaron, and Daffodil Delight.
Then you just pop some candies in the small Cello Treat Bags (AC p.193), fold over the top of the bag and staple in place, adhere the stamped cardstock, and tie a little baker’s twine around the top. So simple, and so cute!
I love having little gifts like these, especially for my daughter to give to her friends. Just a simple bit of candy is really taken to the next level with a little pretty packaging and stamping.
These Cello Treat Bags have become a go-to for treat making for me and I always have a stash of them on hand. For class gifts for Christmas last year we made these ones with red and green M&Ms and the Cookie Cutter friends.
And two years ago we put Easter pencils in these bunny versions.
Like I said, it makes a simple gift look really special and they really take so little time to make. My kind of mass craft project!!
And if you’re thinking it’s too early to be making Valentine’s Day projects then take a look at that calendar – it’s only just over a month away!!! Luckily there is HEAPS of inspiration to be had in this week’s blog hop, such as Liz’s beautiful creations next.
And don’t forget to play along any time this week by adding your CASEd creation to our Facebook page via this link.
