Welcome to your next stop on this month’s ESAD blog hop. I love this group and the monthly hops for the abundance of inspiration they provide.
By now you know that this month’s theme centers around Occasions Catalogue products that can earn you fabulous Sale-a-Bration rewards. My card today is super simple but shows just how effective a few simple supplies can be.
The first bundle that went on my first order for this catalogue was the Amazing Life bundle with the Rectangle Stitched Framelit Dies. So many of us for years had been wishing for a set of rectangle dies. And this set of 13 different sizes with that beautiful stitched detail does not disappoint.
If you don’t already have these because you think you don’t need them, you can cut rectangles with your trimmer just fine, thank you very much, then let me tell you my friend you are wrong!! Yes you can cut rectangles with your trimmer but the dies make it so much more accurate, cleaner, and faster – especially when creating in bulk. I made these cards for a swap for our team meeting this weekend (shout out to team Paper Adventures) and it was so quick and easy to run these through the Big Shot and end up with a nice pile of identical panels.
They also just look so good on cards. Here’s the same card but made by cutting the panels on the trimmer instead. Nice, but the detail and the sizing of the version with the stitched rectangles is just so much better, don’t you think?
For center panel I’ve stamped this gorgeous big sentiment from the coordinating Amazing Life stamp set straight onto the panels from the Petal Promenade DSP. For this I busted out my trusty Stamparatus. Again there is nothing better for bulk crafting when you are repeating stamping. I could also ink up and stamp each panel twice to get a nice deep black and even coverage.
The Petal Promenade DSP featured on this card is, for the final month of SAB, a free item with a $90 purchase. Which means you can get this pack of absolutely beautiful DSP for free when yuh buy the Amazing Life bundle (plus a little something extra to make up the $90, but when is that ever hard to do??)
Hop along next to the fabulous Peta to see what she and her assistant Marvi have created for us to admire today.
Thanks for stopping by!
Siobhan.
