Hello everyone, and welcome to your last stop in this journey that is the Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop for the month.

This month we are showcasing some of the amazing NEW goodies we were spoilt with at OnStage a couple of weeks ago, the Stampin’ Up event for Demonstrators. These events are not just awesome fun to attend, a great place to catch up with your stamping friends, put faces to names, and meet new pals, but we have the distinct perk of getting our inky fingers on a range of upcoming products first. This time the new goodies are from the FABULOUS 2020 Mini Catalogue. Look at that beauty down there.

The stamp set I’ve chosen to showcase in this post is the gorgeous Forever Blossoms – part of the Parisian Blossoms Suite which our gorgeous teamie Mandy presented at OnStage (check out her projects from her presentation here).

There’s a matching die set for this set – which is in a big brown box which arrived on my doorstep this morning but I am yet to unpack! This large blossom image just begs to be coloured in, and although the obvious choice is to go with pretty soft pinks, I wanted to explore some different combinations, and for this card I went with yellow and green.

I stamped the largest flower image in Memento Black on Shimmery White cardstock, then coloured it with Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight, Pineapple Punch, Pumpkin Pie, and the leaves in Call Me Clover and Shaded Spruce.

Here’s a close up of those beautiful, beautiful flower blossoms. The card base is Daffodil Delight and the gingham is also Daffodil Delight, from the colour collection Designer Series Paper. The Shimmery White panel is trimmed to about 2″ wide.

The sentiment stamp is from another fantastic set that I managed to get my little hands on at OnStage, called Peaceful Moments, which is part of the Peaceful Poppies Suite featured on the cover of the new catalogue. I love a good sentiment set and this is a must have item – it has a great range of sentiments for different occasions.

I’ve been trying lately to pretty up my envelopes as well, and thought this large flower would work nicely stamped off the edge and coloured in the same yellow and green scheme. I also used Blends for this and put a folded piece of copy paper inside the envelope to stop them from bleeding through.

On the back I stamped another of the small flowers and on the flap this fun sentiment from Here’s A Card (2019-20 Annual Catalogue) which is another great set for stampers to have in their arsenal.

A little gingham on the inside flap to tie it all in together as well.

I had such fun colouring these beautiful flowers in this bright, happy yellow. What other colour combinations do you think would work with this? Maybe I’ll do a purple version next.

I’m the end of the line for the hop this month but make sure you’ve seen everyone – this link will take you back to Kelly at the start, so if you didn’t start there then keep hopping back to your starting place. There’s lots of inspiration with the new products to be had, including from our lovely guest designer this month, Shannon Kissane.
